🎮 Today’s Blog: A Fun Yet Challenging Day with Blender & Unreal Engine 5 ✍️ by Suraj Kagda Hey devs and dreamers, Today was one of those fun, exciting, and a little confusing days in my game dev learning journey. I spent my whole session bouncing between Blender and Unreal Engine 5 , and here’s the thing — Blender actually felt easier today compared to UE5. I started by modelling a basic environment — nothing fancy, just some props and structures for practice. Blender’s interface is finally starting to make sense. I can move, scale, rotate, and even experiment with modifiers without constantly Googling. That’s a big win for me! But then came Unreal Engine 5 — and wow, the complexity just spikes up. Importing assets, setting up collisions, lighting issues… it sometimes feels like I fix one thing and two new problems pop up. Don’t get me wrong — UE5 is incredibly powerful.
